Good Morning

Well it's Saturday Morning Lil, Murray and Evie and I have just had my bath.

Mummy took me to the park for a game of ball and a sniff around and I thought gee we are going to have a fun day today. Just Mummy and Me. But after a short walk the witch took me home and put in the bath, how dare she!!!!!!!. The indignities I had to bare or is it bear, she is like a great big bear..... she said I had to have a bath because of my staph infection. I said no I don't I can lick that off and then she had the absolute hide to say to me! It's because of your licking that you have the infection.

I am not the least compliant doggy and mummy has to muzzle me for the bath ..... first some water, I like mine warm not hot.. she finally got that right, then the shampoo. This soapy stuff... watch out for my eyes.

Then she is lifting me up in her lap, whats going on? what are you doing? and I start to struggle, I don't do submissive position, what soap on my belly? - oh this is comfortable .... oh no the damn awful singing except it's with the radio. Oh but I like this, yes it's not too bad and I nearly go to sleep. It was like for 10 minutes. I just lay back in her lap with my legs wide open. WWWWWWWWHHHHHATTTT water again, you witch, I'll drown you.

She then rinses me off and puts me back on her lap and I grab her neck with my front paws and then I can't see.... I can't seeeee... oh it's the towel.

Then she lifts me out of the bath. What your leaving me? Where you going? Where's she gone? What? What's that? ..................................... Oh no it's the dryer. Ugh.

So now my mummy says I am a clean boy and very beautiful. Secretly I love being clean - but I tell her I would rather be dirty.

Oh my Oscar,

I am so sorry you have that nasty staph infection. I hope it goes away soon. You don't like baths? Well, I don't like them while I am getting them, so much, but boy do I feel good after :)

I don't like dryers either. Mommy just groomed me a few days ago. She did my nails, face and feet and then last night she scraped my teeth and got all the tartar off. Now "THAT" I hate! It is OK until she does my back teeth. My mouth is so small that it is hard to get to the last tooth on each side of my mouth, so Mommy really has to work hard to get there and keeps telling me, not to move! They sure do feel better though cause I ate both of my RMS's. I had one last night and one this morning and boy were they good~

I hope you enjoyed your walk while you were out. I don't like walking on the ground. Hey Oscar, what's a ball?

Mommy rubs my belly at night, every night before we got to sleep and I just love that.

Well, gotta go now...... Mom has some email to answer and then I need to talk to her because she just told Daddy that we may be getting invaded Feb 11th!

Mommy's Grand-daughter and her 2 children may be coming to visit, for a week or maybe two! YIKES :over Reacting: KIDS Real human ones Well one is 8 years old and I met him last year, and I like him, but the baby is only 4 months old, so I guess it will be OK, cause she can't walk yet <G>

How's it going to the little children, personally I am not a kid fan and then they come near - I stand stock still in the hope they won't see me or I hide behind my mother. Sometimes I can't escape them!!!!!

Hi Oscar,

Mom let me have the puter' for a few minutes. Considering the indignities I have had to suffer through since Wednesday, it is fitting that I be allowed!

First, there is this *crying and whining everywhere, then there is constant talking, " Can I, can I , When can I and it goes on forever. The first night was terrible. There was this baby in our bed, who was already asleep when *I* came to bed, so I was not allowed to play on the bed before going to sleep, and I had to go right to my pillow and lay down behind Mommy's head! And Daddy was not even in bed. He slept somewhere else.

They all decided that would not work, so yesterday they switched everybody back around and Aunti Gina and those two children moved to the *back of the house* in the room where Daddy had slept and Daddy came back to our bedroom and I got to play on my bed ! :Hooray:

Now, last night they all started putting *things* in my room and before they went to bed last night, Aunti Gina asked my Mommy if she could use my Princess lamp for her room as a night light, and *MOM LET HER*and so they took my Princess lamp!!!!!

Then, as if that is not bad enough, the baby showed up in *MY ROOM*

They bought a baby swing at the store yesterday and because there is not much room in the kitchen, they decided to put the swing *AND THE BABY* in *MY ROOM*, with me ! So, now during the day I have to hear music and watch this swing swaying back and forth, and it is really close to my bed and it has the BABY in it, so everyone looks *right past me* and googles at the baby and ignores me ! They say things like, Bree.....Bree.... Hi .....what are you doing and they make all these weird sounds and they don't even know I am there!

I feel like I am am being displaced and Mommy spends more time talking to Aunti Gina and Ethan and I get to just sit here and no one pays the attention to me that I am used to! :over Reacting:

Then there is this noise from something that everyone is calling a Dart Board, which scares me and I run and hide in my bed. These things called darts, make a lot of noise when the they hit the boad and then some man's voice, says things that are weird that I don't understand, like *mark* , "Close* and I don't see any man anywhere! He must be invisible! :scratching head: Now THAT is really scary !

And to add insult to injury, I keep getting left home all by myself because they keep going out shopping. :Sad: or to places I can't go!

Today, Mommy put a dress on me and I am in my bed Feeling all alone............... I like Ethan, because once in awhile he comes and pets me and scratches my head and he is very gentle with me.

So, Oscar, how is your day going and are you feeling better these days and especially since all those smelly dangerous fires were burning over there?

Well, gotta now because Mom had to do some things, like answer her emails and try to get a hold of Denise !

Oh Lil,

I just don't know how you put up with them moving into your house, moving your things and taking up so much of your Mummy's and Daddy's time. Did you feel as though you were left out in the cold? On the shelf and forgotten about?

The most important Question is have they gone home now and are you now the Princess Diva again?

Hi Oscar and everyone :)


FINALLY! Everyone went home on Wednesday! I have my princess lamp back, Mommy changed my potty and vacuumed my rug and washed my bed too! Everything smells so nice and clean. I am really happy.

Ethan was nice and came and petted me once in awhile, but all the whining and crying from both the kids drove me crazy! The baby is really cute though, but I want all the attention. I am after all, a DIVA!

Mom took everyone to the airport around 8:30 in the morning :Peach: and I went along to make sure they actually got on the plane :woo hoo: We came home and Mom spent time catching up on some email , but all she and I did mostly was sleep , until Friday! Eat and sleep Was that great It was so peaceful :boring: Just wonderful to be so bored :yippy:

Friday, Mom did huge washing and cleaning everywhere and then on Saturday, She left me home cause I was sick, and took the cages and kennel over to Pet Smart and gave them back to the Rescue cuase'

POOKIE WAS ADOPTED last Thurs or Sat (19th or 21st)! :Hooray: No more kittens around here to take Mommy's attention away from me :Bravo:

Mom was happy , but she also cried cause' she really got close to Pookie, but she is happy that he got a home and hopes it is a good home. She said she is going to do a follow up call soon.

So, today we are all back to normal and I am feeling better. Daddy had given me snacks Friday night, he should not have given me, or gave me too much.

They were called party mix! They sure were good! :Happy dance:

Mommy was not real happy with Daddy... and *had a few words* with him and I had watery stool and threw up 3 times yesterday.

Well, got to go now as Mom really needs to use the puter' !

Oh Lil,

Sorry to hear that you have been so unwell Ms Lil-lea, but I am sure your Daddy did not mean to make you sick. He justed wanted to share with you his treat. Like the Ice cream and his hot chips. Hope your Mummy and Daddy are friends again. I had my heart checked the other day and it's still in the same place as it was before. It's just a little bit sicker than it was 2 years ago. But my Dr says I am doing ok for an old boy. Today I went to a doggy park - so I had a little run around but all the dogs were very fast and small and noisy and they scared me a little bit. My Aunty Helen's calling me I have to go and have my egg, cheese and peas.

I just have to tell you Lil, Murray, Evie and Fergie,

That I sort of like my new groomer sssshhhh but you can't tell Mum - I have to make her believe that I don't like them at all. They are very nice to me and treat me fine. I have a doggy friend called Barney Thoms goes there too. But on a different day coz he is much younger than me. I go on a Saturday coz Sam's mum Sue is there to look after me.

The only thing I don't really like is being in a cage - but then I used to be in a stall and I always had to share it and sometimes I got really nasty poodles to share with or Cavaliers who could never remember what they were saying. But most of the time I don't talk to anyone I just wait for my mum to come and get me so I stick the claws in her legs to show her how displeased I am with her for leaving me there. There is lots of poodle like dogs that go and they told my mum that they will take my photo and put it up on the wall. Unfortunately I have to share the wall with other dog photos. Not happy Jan.

I hope they don't use a flash........... I don't like flashes.

Anyways, I am waiting for my Aunty Helen to come home and she is late again. I have to go and wait by the back door.

I am so sorry to hear that your hear is worse. You need to take good care of yourself Oscar. :Best Friends:

My Dad always "sneaks me food* when Mommy is not looking and then says he didn't, when she asks~ I know she knows though cause' she tells him,

"Rick I don't believe you and you need to stop giving her thins that are not good for her " :furious:

<sigh> I know Mom will win in the end cause' she prints out all this stuff for Dad to read and then he reads it and agrees with her.

Lately they have been reading something about pH and stuff and Mom says she is going to *test my urine now* to make sure it is right, Yuk! I am going to be so humiliated with something underneath me to catch my pee!
